Instructions for presenters
Oral Presentations
- Presentations should be delivered on your own laptop computer. You should operate your computer by yourself during your presentation. However, if presenters prefer not to use their own laptop or encounter connection issues, a Windows laptop will be provided at each presentation venue.
- Presenters are required to confirm that their presentation files are appropriately displayed in the screen before their own session.
- Presentation time is as follows;
Symposium SOA: Please follow the chair’s direction.
Symposium Invited Oral speaker: Please follow the chair’s direction.
Symposium Oral presentation: Please follow the chair’s direction.
Young Researcher Oral presentation: 12 minutes for presentation, 3 minutes for discussion.
Student Oral presentation: 10 minutes for presentation, 2 minutes for discussion.※The time required for connecting your device is included in your presentation time. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering strictly to the presentation time to ensure the smooth progress of the session.
- The recommended aspect ratio for oral presentations is 16:9.
※Please note that if presentation slides are created with a different aspect ratio, they may be slightly smaller when projected on the screen.
- Please bring an AC adaptor of the computer for a presentation.
- A HDMI cable connector will be provided at the presentation venue. If a presenter’s computer has a special-format monitor output terminal such as Mini Display or D-sub 15 pin, please bring the appropriate HDMI conversion adapter.
- It is recommend that presenters bring a USB for backup of their presentations.
- Audio output is not available.
- Presentations are not streamed online.
Poster presentations
- The usable size of poster board is 210 cm height x 90 cm width (82.6 x 35.4 inches).
- Please include Abstract Title, Author Name(s), and Affiliation(s) in the upper portion of the poster.
- Posters should be placed on their corresponding board on Monday July 9. LOC will let each presenter know his/her poster number in June.
- Pins for setting posters and tags for presenters will be provided in the poster room.
- Presenters are required to give a presentation at their own presentation time described in the program.
